Will life miss you when you leave?
Published by: rose 2008-12-06

  • I found a quote for you about life.

Life is too short to argue, to long to sit around , and to stressful not do something.

Life is to short to ponder upon such questions.

Edit: Not if your on here doing something productive.

Answer to your question: No, life will not miss me, nor will I expect it to. Life is to short to worry about things like that.

  • No........you are remembered for a while.......and then totally forgotten.

  • Don't know-don't care! I live in the NOW. I live in the moment, which is now a part of the past & it no longer matters!
To every action there is a reaction. It could be a lesser one & it could be a greater one. When I go...another shall arrive...just as it has done since the beginning of time.

  • I hope life misses me. Then I'd know I left my mark.

  • Of course my relatives will miss me. But sometimes I've wondered how many generations that will go on. I barely remember my great-grandparents. And who were THEIR parents?

If I really look, I can find out names of some ancestors. My father's last name goes back to 1600. So, names can be known, but what of the person who owned that name?

Do I have personality traits from generations ago? WILL a future child generations from now have something from me, personality wise?

I guess I will be remembered for the personalized walking canes I make. So far there are over 210 of them in different parts of the US, UK, and South Africa. Hopefully, one of those customers will regret my passing.

But what I'm really hoping is that my canes will someday become so valuable and collectible that they'll be auctioned off at Sotheby's. LOL!

Wellllllllllllllllllllll. I'm just trying to be optimistic! (blushing)

  • I am but a tiny drop in the ocean of life. When I evaporate it will make only the smallest of differences to the huge sea but falling as a raindrop may affect a few.

  • No, though loved ones may miss me, when I leave this life my time will be gone and life won't miss me. So I'm enjoying 'my time' now, before I move on and another takes my place.---Luvs

  • When I'm gone I will be but ashes in the wind.

  • my husband will.

  • Some will for a while. Then I like all others will eventually go into oblivion. We all expect to find immortality when no one deserves it. We all think because we are here now that we should be here forever. Enjoy what you have while here on earth because when you are gone.......you are gone period. No one owes anyone eternal life after death.

  • My name will be just a memory which will fade away, as most memories do. If there is a tombstone or marker, some might pass it by and wonder who this person was. I have done that myself at times and wonder if anyone is left who remembers or cares that this person lived.

  • i doubt it. i can't think of any reason why it would.

  • Naa,, someone else will have a parking place

  • I think my loved ones will miss me, and I them. But, I also think of death as a transition into a different phase of life, rather than an ending. I think we continue to evolve and grow. Tell me: do you think a butterfly misses being a caterpillar?

  • my actions may linger but in the end this body will just be another stone in the pasture and that's just fine with me..my children and those i love will no doubt have their memories, i hope i've made them meaningful.

  • I don't know if life will miss me - but I hope that my friends and family do!
At least I will know that I have left a 'carbon footprint' when I leave!
