Surprised that there have been so few comments recently about experiences with Inter-Continental stays--does this suggest perfection with the chain so no comments needed?
I wouldn't say they are perfect, but they are consistent. Consistency is a rare quality in today's hotels. So there isn't much to say about them.
I stayed at the Grand Inter-Continental Yokohama last week. It's a very nice hotel, but it was curious to me that the furnishing looked exactly like the I-C in Geneva. I think they imported everything including the toilets from Europe.
Well, as regards the Six Continent's Club and Priority Pass and trying to get the miles due to me I would say they're only passing the grade.
I stayed at the Tamanaco Inter-Continental Caracas in May. SCC got me a nice junior suite, but my amenities never showed up. I got in late and left early so I didn't really have much time to follow up on that. I gave them my Priority Pass number, but that failed to show up on the receipt and thus far nothing has credited. When you call the PP service center they ask you to fax a copy of the bill because they don't have access to the IC systems. Still working those things out I suppose.

I was also trying to get 5,000 bonus AA miles through the LuxuryLink promotion. I had made sure that this was added to my record, however upon checkout I couldn't find it. So there are minor glitches in their system, not sure how they're going to fix them.
 Nobody understands...any help please?
