The question, "Why is the sky blue?" must have been asked at least a hundred times by now on Y!A, no matter how many times it's been answered. Is there something about blue skies that strikes a deep chord or what?
I had answered this question 4 - 5 times.
Another popular question is about the Big Bang theory.

Its because the sky is all around us...its hard to ignore....maybe the question is also asked because those who ask never saw the question or its answers before, perhaps its their first time on the site.
Try a hundred times today. Since Y!A automatically brings up similar questions, which have of course already been answered, I'm assuming it's a need for attention. Because if they just wanted to know the answer, they could have gotten it a lot faster by reading one of the other million threads on it. But for some reason, they still felt the need to ask again.
Because it is easy to ask but difficult to answer in such a way that a schoolchild would understand. I really think it's 8 year olds who ask it all the time.
