So I just asked a qusestion about why younger whites get mad at Hispanic Heritage month and Black History Month.
And I got answers from (white) people who claimed that there is no such thing as a white history month .........................
Some even said that Minorities create racism by separating themselves from Whites.

Have they forgotten that White people were the ones in the first place to separate themselves from other minorities for hundreds of years!
Things did not just change overnight.
My dad still remembers what it feels like to not be able to use the same restroom as white people.
That was just 50 or so years ago!
Minorities were made to feel inferior and they are still made to feel inferior today by ignorant people.
That is not special privledge!
Minorities create their own organizations and such to boost their own self esteem.
White people can't dominate minorities forever!
Why shouldn't minorities celebrate themselves?
I mean they have been dominated by whites for hundreds of years!

Do they want to keep dominating or something?
Is it jealousy or intimidation or what that makes certain (white) people feel the way they do?
Some will even argue about the use of the N word.
WHY!
Have they forgotten the dark history behind it?
Why would they want to use the N word in the first place?!?!
Or is the real reason for their ignorance simply a lack of education?
When people do not know their history they will repeat it.
And that is what may be going on.
They don't know much about it and so they judge based on misguided facts.

It's ignorance, plain and simple. Pretty much all the people who think like that have no idea what it's like to be discriminated against AND be affected in the way that blacks and minorities are by racism.
Yes, you are absolutely right, a huge generalisation. Pretty ignorant in itself if you ask me. I know you said not all, but you know, it's still wrong.
I couldn't care less who celebrates what, to be quite honest. As long as it's obviously not celebrating hateful things, of course.
To be quite honest with you, intentional racial segregation is ridiculous. I can't quite understand it. I'm afraid, I would certainly have to agree that it does create racism when a certain race (including whites) do not mix with others. I don't get it.
I also don't understand why people have to live in the past. when will we ever move on if people keep bringing up the hateful past. I'm white and Welsh, and Some Welsh are hateful towards the English (Vise versa) because of the history, but to be honest, I don't care because you just have to move on. Just because our ancestors were ignorant, it doesn't mean we have to be...
