i got a new compaq laptop but there is no nero inside it and i have been trying hard to install nero 7 but i m unable to do that
i m unable to burn any CD

I enabled Nero ImageDrive 2.29 which is not compatible with Windows Vista. go buy the latest version of Nero that is fully Vista Compatible, I can use VPC

Nero 9 should work with Vista.
If not, then any version of Nero, if you have the install, right click on it and go properties > compatibility > windows xp service pack 2 (or any service pack).
I don't actually use Vista so that instruction may be a bit off, but you should be able to find the thing im talking about.

I had to install Nero on Vista before Nero updated to work with Vista... And that was how I fixed it.
