In 1989 I was given a tape recording with a song on it that moved me.
I have no idea of when the song was actually recorded and the friend
who gave me the tape has passed away. I wrote part of the lyrics down
in a journal and eventually lost the tape. I want to know the name
and artist of this song. Below you will find part of the lyrics as I
had transcribed them (I am sure they are very close but may not be
perfect). Thank you.
