Matty if that is true then I definitely won't be watching the halftime show. The last decent halftime was the Rolling Stones when the Steelers played the Seahawks. Why not have aerosmith or I would love the Who to play halftime. But if they go for a new band then it has to be rock music. Like Seether, Disturbed, something like that. Oh Metallica would rock as well.
