I am DLing a copy. But its so old, and so much about the web has changed since the program was written, that I have to wonder if it is still worth using. (And yes, I know about the 6 button nonsense, so I'll be looking for it.)
I mean I am a web dummy for the most part, in spite of having my own site for several years. I get by, but just barely, and can use any help I can get. Yet I dont want to get stuck in a rut that leads in the wrong direction.
At the same time, even if the new version worked perfectly, I wouldnt get that one. I am on a small fixed income, and couldnt afford to buy it. I have to make do with free software.
I'm tired now, so I'm not sure how much sense I'm making. I guess I want to know if anyone is still using it, and if they think it is still worth learning to use. Or if there is some other free program that I might be better off with. (I did like Arachniphillia, until it became Java based. Where did you find 1st Page 2000? I have in on my old computer, but can't find the install source. The Evrsoft home page implies it is available, but when I click on the link the only download is First Page 2006.

I'm assuming you are referring to 1st Page 2000. Yes, I still use it but I'm not a commercial user. My site is quite small and is used for teaching but 1st Page 2000 does everything I need it to do and there is still a lot I've never used.
Try it, you might like it. :)
