The Brief
A design brief is usually a written explanation outlining the aims, objectives and milestones of a design project. A thorough and articulate design brief is a critical part of the design process. It helps develop trust and understanding between the client and designer - and serves as an essential point of reference for both parties. We always discuss the assignment with our clients, provide a quote and agree terms before starting work.
Analysis , Research and Development
Where the concepts and problems of the brief are broken down and solutions are found. At amick we work closely with our clients during this phase. We produce realistic mock-ups of web pages and print materials that the clients can view and give us feedback on. Once the initial prototypes have been sent, we will ask for your opinion on each design. Usually one or two items will be worked on further, refining certain elements such as colour and typography, however if its thought that the design is not right for development, further new ideas will be created. By developing close working relationships we can produce outstanding creative designs. This process or designing & reviewing will continue until your happy with the final look and feel of the artwork. Unlike other design agencies, there is no limit on the number of revisions you can make and we are happy to work until you are satisfied with your artwork.

Implementation
Once the designs have been signed off they will be made up to professional specifications, we use industry standard creative software products like Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Indesign to create a bespoke design, we do not use pre fabricated templates of any kind to produce web sites or corporate branding. We will also deliver all files on disc and include a range of extra formats so you can use it in your own office in word documents or other print material.
