Most of stock picking services on the internet claim to have a great performance! They claim that they can beat the market by hundreds of percentage but you should know the fact about their track record. First of all, if anyone takes Introduction to Finance 101 they will know that there might be stock picking systems or day trading stocks strategies that work for only a period of time and only a particular market environment but it is almost impossible to beat the market (For example S&P 500) in the long run. There are two different systems for stock trading online in a short term period. Judgmental and non-judgmental, If a stock picks company is using a software to pick stocks then that would be a non-judgmental and the program decides about the criteria in which the program will pick stocks. Non-judgmental means that the person or trader who is picking stocks using some technical analysis indicators that can not be developed as stock picking software (That is how professional traders trade). I have been using different stock advisory services in the past few years and know that the most important factor for a stock advisor is to predict the trend of the stock market in a very short period and then follow that trend. Short selling stocks can be very successful when the market is in a downtrend but when the trend is up most of your short sells will fail to make you money. Stock advisor Group is one of the companies that I liked the service the most since at least their performance is actual performance but they still beat the market in the past couple of years. The best way would be to paper trade their strategy for a few weeks before getting evolved with real hard earning money. Why should you trust someone else? You can at least subscribe to their service for one month and paper trade their recommendations and if it is good then invest your money in their stock picks.
